Bernard Echols scholarship was created in 1970 in memory of Bernard Elgin Echols after he was killed in an auto accident on his way to school. Our vision is to help young adults achieve their dreams of entering into college without being bound by financial limitations. Each child represents our community and we’re here to help them positively impact their lives and the lives of the community. We are proud of those who have successfully matriculated through college and are eager to help those start their journey to college.

Our scholarships are awarded to youth involved or associated with the Pure Holiness Church organization as active members or family that are active members.
We are a 501c3 non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible.
